22 Weeks and Baby Liam

I know I say this each time, but I cannot believe how quickly this pregnancy has gone by!  I cannot believe I am 22 weeks already!  I am feeling pretty good, except for some round ligament pain, and I am starting to get tired again.  It is probably because I have a basketball strapped to my belly! Ha!  I am looking forward to my monthly doctor’s visit on Tuesday.  We have another ultrasound to view his heart only, because the radiologist did not get good enough pictures in my doctor’s opinion.  She doesn’t think anything is wrong and his heart rate is always excellent, but she wants to get better views just to make sure.  Hopefully, Maddox will pose for the camera! :)

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along:  22 weeks 2 days

Total Weight Gain/Loss:  will find out Tuesday at my doctor’s appointment

Maternity Clothes:  I love my pants, but I am also loving dresses and skirts right now!

Best Moment this week:  Feeling Maddox move A LOT!  I think he is doing flips or something in there!  He is very active after I’ve been on my feet a while and then decide to sit down…he thinks it’s time to play then!   Wade gets to feel him kick pretty much every night.

Gender:  It’s a boy!  Maddox Wade!

Movement: yes, and it is amazing!

Food Craving:  pasta, fruit

What I miss: cold turkey sandwiches and sleeping on my stomach!

Sleep: Wish I could get more of it!   I am constantly waking up and catching myself sleeping on my back or going to potty!

What I am looking forward to:  seeing Maddox on Tuesday!

Belly Button:  it’s about to pop!

Symptoms: round ligament pain and cramps in both legs! ugh!

Last Sunday, my cousin Kelleye, had her baby boy Liam.  We went to New Orleans to visit with them yesterday, but I was only able to get one picture because I held him pretty much the whole time. He was so precious and so tiny, and I can’t wait to hold Maddox in my arms!

Baby Liam.  I just love him so much!  He has the prettiest blue eyes.

  1. Have you looked into Old Navy's maternity clothes? I ordered a bunch online last year around this time and they always seem to have a bunch of great stuff for not too much. Do you have a body pillow? That really helped me sleep, especially the closer I got to my due date. Good luck at the doctor tomorrow.

  2. I have looked at them online, but sadly, the Old Navy in Baton Rouge doesn't sell maternity clothes in store, so I am not sure what size I would wear. I think I may order a few dresses though...that seems to be all I am comfortable in right now! I bought a pillow at Babies R Us which seems to be helping a little bit.

  3. I wore dresses all summer long when I was preggo with E! They were definitely the most comfortable and the coolest! We need some updated pics of you! I wanna see that cute belly :)
